What deposit is required to hold the date & when is the balance due?

We require a $475.00 deposit to hold the date. This deposit is non- refundable. The balance of $1,000.00 is due at the rehearsal.

We have been using Happy Hollow Park for years to shoot engagement photos. There are several areas that have totally different backgrounds which give you a wider selection of photos to pick from. There is also a place to change outfits, should you care to. But because weather is a big factor, please be flexible on your engagement shoot dates and availability. It normally takes about an hour for the shoot and we generally take around 200 photos. If you prefer, we will also come to your home or anywhere locally you would like. (As long as we have permission to shoot there) We do not have a studio because we feel that outdoor photos or familiar settings, tend to be more of a relaxed situation for our clients. And with being more relaxed, we get a more natural looking photo.

*Prints from your engagement session can be used from the 30 FREE prints that is included in this outstanding package.

Digital Camcorders

We set up two digital camcorders to capture your vows. We also try and capture key moments of the day on video. Please do not misunderstand, we do not follow you around with a video camera. These are still camcorders set up at key events. (Cake cutting, first dance, garter toss, etc.)

What makes us different?

Unlike most photographers, we attend the wedding rehearsal. We feel it is helpful to know how the wedding will flow so we know where to be to get he best shots. We feel it is important to meet the wedding party and the officiator ahead of time. In our opinion, this is actually the start of the wedding event. It also gives us a chance to check on any photography restrictions the church might have. We always have respect for whatever venue we are working in.

How long will we stay?

We have NO TIME LIMIT. We get to the church when you get there. We capture all the events and stay until all the photos are done.

How many photos do we take?

Depending on the size of the wedding party and families, we normally take around 2,000 photos. After the selection process we usually end up with close to 1,500 photos. We take every step possible to bring out the best photos we can. Once that process is done we then burn all of the photos to a CD. (These images will be a low resolution so it is easy to load and view on your computer.)

How long do I have to wait to get the CD Proofs?

We go through each and every picture to try and make it the best we can. This takes some time... but it is worth the result. This process takes from 4 to 6 weeks. After receiving the CD we ask you please place your order for your FREE prints within 60 days.

Do you travel or only shoot locally?

Yes, we do travel for weddings or events. Depending on the location, will determine the travel fee. We are located in Lafayette, Indiana (47905)

What quality will my prints be?

We have been using the same photo lab for over 25 years. So all of your prints go through a professional photo lab and are printed on Kodak professional paper.

What if I want more prints?

You are under no obligation to buy anything. But if you, a family member or friend want additional prints, we offer them at very reasonable rates.

We offer larger and smaller size prints. The above rates are just to give you an idea of our pricing. We also offer black & white prints as well as a Sepia finish. (Antique look)

What is a "Coffee Table Book" and do you offer that?

A coffee table book is a hard covered and bound book with your wedding photos not only on the pages inside, but the front and back cover too! The pages look and feel like a heavy magazine pages with your wedding photos laid out in different arrangements that tells the story of your wedding in photos. Yes, we offer a coffee table book for an additional charge of $250. You can have up to 175 photos in the book. You can choose the photos to be in the book, or you can let us choose the photos. You will have a chance to view the book before it goes to the printers to be sure you are happy with the layout and content. We have several samples of our Coffee Table Book if you would like to meet with us.

Can you do special effects?

We can do most special effects and photo touch ups at a small additional charge. Depending on the effect or extent of the touch up, will vary the cost. But for just and an average special effect photo is only a $10.00 charge for the labor.

Can I purchase the copyright to any or all of the photos?

Yes, you can buy the copyright to any one photo for $10.00 or the copyright to ALL the photos for $500.00.

We also offer a Customized wedding DVD for an additional fee of $350.00.

For this DVD, we select photos from your wedding for each of the following categories: The Rehearsal, Posed Pictures, The Wedding & The Reception. For each category we arrange the photos and set them to music you pick out to create your custom wedding DVD. On this DVD will be 4 side shows, one for each category. The DVD will also have a bonus menu with your wedding and reception video clips! Couples who have bought this DVD say they watch it over and over again.
